Suzuki Gixxer 250 gets a complete digital instrument cluster with the usual amount of information about its capacity time indicator, watch and a few speedometers you'd expect from a motorcycle. In fact, Suzuki Burgman has got a better Bluetooth-enabled cluster for turn-by-turn navigation, and we're pleased to see the same in this GixXer device.

Still, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 is a naked entry-level street fighter with an aggressive modern design and a peppy 249cc single cylinder engine with an oil cooler. With an output of 26 horsepower, the motorcycle is likely to meet the first motorcyclists in Japan who are looking for a distinctive naked bike in Suzuki style. The new GixXer SF 1.2-liter tank looks muscular and has the shape inherited from the naked GIXXer.

This bike shares its foundations with the Gixxer SF 250. Power comes from a 249 cc single-cylinder SOHC engine with fuel injection that produces 26 bhp at 9000 rpm and 226 Nm maximum torque at 7000 rpm paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This model is an air and oil cooled 249cc Suzuki Eco Performance SEP single piston with a single overhead cam (SOHC) 249cc engine. Both the GIXXER 250 and the GixXer 250SF are powered by this engine and at 9,000 RPM produce 265 bhp and 226 Nm of torque at 7,500 Rpm.

With the accelerator pedal open and the body ducked, the rider continued to gain speed, with the 250cc nude motorcycle reaching a top speed of 151 km / h, a good figure for its size. A light kerb weight of 15.6 kilos provides additional comfort. It felt in a way similar to the nonchalant Gixxer 250 when it came to corners and corners at the Buddh International Circuit without scrapping the footrests or breaking a sweat on our first ride two years ago. The disadvantage is that the motorcycle does not have Bluetooth connectivity or safety nets on either side of the stand, but the engine shutdown function improves the functionality and value for money of the motorcycle.

With the latest emissions standards taking effect from April 1, car dealers in India are under immense pressure to sell their current stock of BS-6 compliant Gixxxers and GixXers 250, and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has only exacerbated concerns.
